Analysis:
Winston Churchill got into politics because he was influenced by his family background.Churchill was the son of Lord Randolph Churchill, a politician himself, which exposed him to politics at a young age. His father’s career, though brief, served as both an inspiration for young Churchill. Churchill’s early career path, however, did not directly begin in politics. Instead, he started a military career, serving as an officer in the British Army and later as a war correspondent. His experiences in India, Sudan, and South Africa gave him fame and understanding of the military which later helped in WW2.
In 1900, Churchill first entered Parliament as a Conservative MP for Oldham. In 1940 he was elected Prime Minister as World war 2 broke out and where he led England to a victory.
Opinion:
In conclusion I think that Winston was a good politician as he was elected twice for prime minister and he had a good understanding of the military as he trained at a special school and this helped him lead Britain to a victory which he was most famous for.
